Last night we had the gorgeous Tiff and Matt from Beetbox gracing our little café for the evening, bringing with them a whole variety of Middle Eastern themed veggie delights. It’s the teams’ first year running a food truck, starting just before summer 2016 but new to the game or not, these guys are getting it spot on.
The menu for the evening ranged from Dukka, to Baba Ganoush, to vegan chocolate chilli cheesecake and every course was more delicious than the last. Their use of only the freshest ingredients meant the plates were brimming with colour, spice and most importantly; flavour.
This year more than ever we’ve seen a change in the way people are eating, being in the hospitality industry we now make it a priority to have gluten free and vegan options on the menu. Where before this was a niche market, it’s now a necessity as we are all becoming more and more clued up about the world around us, and what exactly it is were putting in our tums.
What Beetbox are doing is truly special, that is; making delicious, healthy food accessible for everyone and showing just how good veggie can be.
